The Role
This is a senior opportunity within the Group Finance function, responsible for leading financial reporting, consolidation and control across a complex, multi-entity international structure.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across reporting processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation and delivery of Group financial reporting, providing clear and insightful analysis to senior stakeholders
* Own the consolidation of multi-currency management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across monthly reporting cycles
* Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
* Take full ownership of month-end and year-end close processes, driving efficiency and continuous improvement
* Act as the primary point of contact for external audit, managing the process end-to-end and engaging with senior audit stakeholders
* Partner closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business to provide financial insight and constructive challenge
* Lead the development and enhancement of Group accounting policies and reporting frameworks
* Review and approve consolidation adjustments and key accounting judgements
* Oversee budgeting and cost analysis, providing insight to support performance and cost management
* Ensure delivery of Group regulatory reporting requirements
* Support acquisition accounting, including technical assessment and integration into Group reporting
* Drive process improvement initiatives, including the use of automation, systems and emerging technologies
* Strengthen the financial control environment and governance frameworks
* Contribute to global and cross-functional projects, working with senior stakeholders across the organisation
* Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting a high-performance finance culture
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise
* Proven experience in group reporting within a complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environment
* Experience operating at a senior level, with the confidence to engage and influence executive stakeholders
* Strong leadership capability, with experience managing or developing team members
* Commercially minded, with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insight
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong attention to detail, with sound judgement on materiality and risk
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, solutions-oriented and focused on continuous improvement
* High levels of integrity, professionalism and discretion
