About this Role Are you a Fleet Administration Assistant or Customer Service Executive looking for a new role, or an experienced Fleet Controller or Rental Coordinator ready for a fresh challenge? If so, our Fleet Administration Assistant opportunity within Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer could be exactly what you have been searching for. As a Customer Service Executive, you will play a key role in fleet operations, vehicle compliance, tachograph management and customer service, ensuring our trucks and trailers remain roadworthy, compliant and ready for hire. Manage vehicle check in and check out inspections, ensuring trucks and trailers are road legal, taxed, tested and damage free. Oversee driver compliance including tachograph record management, driving hours checks and wage reconciliation. Coordinate MOT schedules, planned maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime. Work confidently with customers to identify damage and obtain recharge authorisation. Support rental agreements, invoicing and daily branch administration. About You You enjoy being organised, proactive and part of a busy transport environment where no two days are the same. You are confident speaking with customers, comfortable challenging when needed, and understand that great service is about balancing firmness with fairness. Full UK driving licence. Experience in customer service, fleet, rental, transport or a similar environment. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a transport setting. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Experience within asset rental, HGV, truck and trailer, compliance or logistics would be helpful, but it is not essential.
