Mae Canolfan y Mileniwm yn dymuno penodi Rheolwr Gweithrediadau Diogelwch i ymuno â'n tîm deinamig. Yn y rôl hon, byddwch yn arwain ac yn goruchwylio pob agwedd ar weithrediadau diogelwch, gan sicrhau diogelwch a chyfanrwydd asedau a gwybodaeth ein sefydliad.

Mae hwn yn gyfle anarferol i ymuno â thîm cyflym, gan gymryd cyfrifoldeb rheoli dros ddiogelwch digwyddiadau proffil uchel yn un o adeiladau mwyaf eiconig y DU.

Mae'n gyfnod cyffrous i ymuno â'r tîm wrth i ni symud i weithredu Cyfraith Martyn ac yn ddiweddar rydym wedi cynnal nifer o ddigwyddiadau fel lleoliad o ddewis ar gyfer llawer o ymweliadau proffil uchel Cymru.

Ynglŷn â'r Rôl a'r Cyfrifoldebau:

Mae swydd Rheolwr Gweithrediadau Diogelwch yn rhan o'r adran Gweithrediadau Busnes ac mae'n chwarae rhan allweddol wrth sicrhau bod amgylchedd diogel a sicr yn cael ei ddarparu ar draws safle Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru i bob cwsmer, ymwelydd, staff, preswylydd a manwerthwr. Mae'r Rheolwr yn gyfrifol am reoli tîm o 12 o staff diogelwch dan gontract a chontract darpariaeth diogelwch allanol sy'n cwmpasu cyfnod 24/7. Mae'r swydd hon yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth gynnal cydymffurfiaeth ar draws y tîm trwy oruchwylio cydymffurfiaeth â gofynion trwyddedu a phrotocolau hyfforddi, a rheoli staff o ddydd i ddydd yn ogystal â chynllunio ar gyfer y tîm diogelwch yn y dyfodol gan sicrhau bod y busnes yn arwain y ffordd gyda'r holl ddeddfwriaeth diogelwch a digwyddiadau.

Mae'r Rheolwr yn gweithio ar draws yr adran Gweithrediadau Busnes gyfan ac yn ffitio i rôl y person cyfrifol ar y safle. Mae'r rôl hon yn gofyn am rywun sydd â sgiliau arweinyddiaeth cryf profedig a'r uchelgais i yrru'r tîm a'r sefydliad ymlaen yn unol â gweledigaeth strategol y Ganolfan Milwyr gan sicrhau bod safonau uchel bob amser yn flaenoriaeth ar y safle.

Bydd eich rôl yn destun gwiriad DBS cyn i chi ddechrau.

Gofynion Allweddol:

Dyletswyddau rheoli: -

* Gweithredu fel pwynt cyswllt ar gyfer y Tîm Diogelwch os nad yw rhyddhau o'r tîm oriau sero/asiantaeth yn bosibl.
* Gweithio unrhyw oriau na ellir eu gweithio gan y Tîm Diogelwch oriau sero/Asiantaeth Ddiogelwch.
* Rheoli hyfforddiant y tîm i safon uchel gan gynnwys system e-ddysgu hanfodol y Ganolfan a sicrhau bod y tîm diogelwch yn gyfarwydd â deddfwriaeth ddiweddaraf NACTSO/NCA ac Awdurdod y Diwydiant Diogelwch (SIA).
* Rheoli rhestrau dyletswyddau diogelwch a chyfrifoldebau gweinyddol y timau.
* Rheoli cydymffurfiaeth ar gyfer yr adran ddiogelwch gan sicrhau y cedwir at ddeddfwriaeth diogelwch a bod holl drwyddedau SIA yn eu lle ac yn gyfredol.
* Cyfrifoldeb am gyflwyno'r ddeddfwriaeth Martyn's Law sy'n dod i rym yn Sicrhau darpariaeth ddiogelwch ddi-dor ar gyfer pob digwyddiad, gan gymryd dull rhagweithiol o ddarparu gwasanaeth o'r fath.

About WMC/Our Department:

The Business Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and oversee all aspects of security operations, ensuring the safety and integrity of our organisation's assets and information.

This is an unusual opportunity to join a fast-paced team, taking management responsibility for the safety of high-profile events in one of the UK's most iconic buildings.

It's an exciting time to join the team as we transition into the implementation of Martyn's Law and have recently hosted multiple events as a venue of choice for many of Wales's high-profile visits.

About the Role and Responsibilities:

The position of Security Operations Manager sits within the Business Operations department and plays a key role in ensuring that a safe and secure environment is provided across the Wales Millennium Centre site for all customers, visitors, staff, residents and retailers. The Manager is responsible for managing a team of 12 contracted security staff and the contract of an outsourced security provision that covers a 24/7 period. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance across the team by overseeing adherence to licensing requirements and training protocols, and the day-to-day management of staff as well as future planning for the security team ensuring the business is leading the way with all security and event legislation.

The Manager works across the whole Business Operations department and fits into the role of responsible person on site. This role requires someone with proven strong leadership skills and the ambition to drive the team and the organisation forward in line with the WMC's strategic vision ensuring high standards are always a priority on site.

Your role will be subject to a DBS check before you start.

Key Requirements:

Management duties: -

1. To be the point of contact for the Security Team should absence from the zero hours team/Agency not be possible

2. To cover any hours that cannot be covered by the Security zero hours team/Security agency

3. To proactively manage team training to a high standard including the mandatory WMC e-learning system and ensuring the security team are up to date with legislation from NACTSO/NCA and the SIA

4. To manage security rosters and administration responsibilities for the teams

5. To manage all compliance for the security department ensuring security legislation is abided by and all SIA licenses are in place, in date and accurately recorded for compliance and auditing.

6. Responsibility for leading on the introduction of the Martyn's Law legislation coming into effect in 2025.

7. Ensure seamless delivery of security for all events, taking a proactive approach to the delivery of such service.
