A bit about the role:
Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing by delivering personalized care, guidance, and advocacy, helping them stay safe and healthy, and reach their full potential.

About the Service:
OurPlace is a 3-bed permanent residential home for children and young people aged 8–18 with various learning disabilities. We aim to create a homely, supportive environment where children can thrive, by assisting with household tasks and all aspects of their care.
We focus on hearing children's voices and providing a collaborative, caring service, ensuring they experience a safe, happy childhood in a warm, inclusive environment.
How you'll help to create brighter futures:
* Lead case and care planning, including risk assessment and management
* Coordinate responsibilities within the service, liaise with multi-agency teams, and produce reports
* Attend professional meetings, reviews, and court hearings
Let's talk about you:
* Experience working in a care setting and building positive relationships based on trust
* Ability to communicate effectively with service users and families
* Solution-focused approach to problem-solving
* Emotional resilience to handle challenging aspects of the role
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to complete within 2 years with full support
