Our engineering client is looking for a Machine Operator to work on a Band Saw and Punch Machine in their Climping/Littlehampton manufacturing facility. Although the position is initially temporary, there is the prospect of the role becoming permanent. You will be involved in fabricating a combination of high tensile, cold-formed alloy and mild steels for the manufacture of T-bars/steps for the commercial vehicle sector. These items are retro fitted. Whilst direct experience of operating these machines is not required, it is essential that you have good machine operating experience and can work within a team environment. The working hours are 40 per week, 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, with15 mins morning break, lunch from 1pm to 1.30pm and an afternoon break from 3pm to 3.15pm.
