The Role This is the number one finance position within the organisation, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with other Directors across the business. You will take full responsibility for leading the finance function, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and meaningful financial insight to support decision making. Key elements include: Overseeing day-to-day financial operations Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Providing strategic input to the Managing Director and wider leadership team Supporting and developing the existing finance team Liaising with the external accountancy firm Managing relationships with auditors and external stakeholders Driving process improvements and efficiencies This is a visible role within the business and will suit someone confident influencing at senior level.About You ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or strong qualified by experience Commercially aware, proactive and confident in your approach Strong communicator, able to challenge constructively Forward thinking, organised and hands on Looking for a long term opportunity within a growing organisation Experience within contract driven or public sector environments would be advantageous Benefits In return, you'll be joining an organisation that genuinely values its people and offers an excellent package, including 30 days holiday, generous sick pay and a highly flexible hybrid model.
