The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Division.
This position performs quality assurance activities for services provided to persons with developmental disabilities including visits to residential group homes, individual residences, and day service locations. Other responsibilities include on-site visits to ensure health, safety, and quality of life for service recipients; monitors trends in incident management reports to prevent future occurrences; conducts screenings to select individuals for waiver service opportunities.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
* Knowledge of developmental disabilities resources and services.
* Knowledge of group mediation and problem resolution.
* Ability to maintain effective working relationships by using tact and professionalism.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve complex problems.
* Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs.
* Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, human services, special education, or other education degree.
* Three years’ experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Other equivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred:
* Education and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This is a part-time position with an expectation of 30 hours per week.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants.
