YOUR ROLE
We are looking for technology passionate individuals to want to start their career in the IT industry. You will be joining The Engagement Management practice working for our largest UK public sector client, learning from our inspiring experts, and joining a large community of Graduates and Apprentices across the business to share experiences and connect with to support you. You will create, manage and continuously improve one or more programmes using agile and lean principles and methodologies, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a number of multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams. You will work with product managers and the delivery team to establish delivery priorities and plans, manage risks and dependencies, and remove blockers. You will have good stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build good relationships and communicate effectively. You’ll learn to deliver complex projects, services and financial accounting.
This is a hybrid working role, you should expect to be in our Telford office 3 days a week.
ROLES
Our Engagement Management programme is rotational, where you will develop experience in the following roles, building your skills as you progress. This is a unique opportunity which will see that you work across the market unit in many contract areas.
Your rotation will see you building experience in the following roles and you can start within any one of the following;
• Junior Project Analysts (PMO) – Financial management of projects, monitoring and control, resource and capacity management, change management and project planning.
• Junior Business Operation Managers (BOA) - Supporting the day-to-day operational activities to ensure the business can operate, this includes monthly financial accounting, resourcing, governance, capability, and development of the employees in the area and reliability of data.
• Junior Service Delivery Managers – Responsible for the performance and achievement of SLA’s for live services into the client, driving compliance, and collaborating with technical teams that deliver the agreed availability and performance of the service into the client. Working with the client and delivery teams through all stages of a project, from presales, through to delivery, ‘go live’ and beyond. In this role you will be managing the delivery of technical live services into the client, so you will need to be able to grasp the technical aspects of your service.
• Junior Project Managers - Management of IT projects through the lifecycle, using Agile or waterfall project methodologies. Conducting financial management of projects, project governance such as monitoring, control, project resource and capacity management, change management and project planning. For this role you will be supporting the management of IT projects and so you will need to grasp the technical aspects of your project. You will be working with our technical teams at relevant stages within the project, including enterprise and solutions architects, software engineers, business analysts and technical clients.

• Be on track for a 2:2 in bachelor’s degree or above

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• Market unit induction week, involving learning sessions, kit setup and support and UK Mandatory Compliance Training.
• 8-week business challenge, developing a solution and presentation to a real business problem.
• Hands on work in your designated contract area, providing insight into the role, area an industry.
• Soft skills programme covering: Communication, presentation skills, personal branding, technology competency, Capgemini leadership principles, stakeholder management, business writing, conflict management and persuasion/influence skills.
• Possibility to be awarded industry certifications.
NOTE
These roles require BPSS and SC Security Clearance, you will be required to pass through SC Security Clearance if you are successful in this recruitment process, which is a condition of undertaking the role. To meet the clearance requirements, you will need to;
• Have the right to live and work in the UK
• Be resident in the UK for the past five years
• Have spent no more than 3 consecutive months outside the UK in that period
If you cannot meet these criteria, we are sorry, but we will not be able to consider you for this role.
