JOB DESCRIPTION At The Guinness Partnership, our Safe Neighbourhood Team is dedicated to creating safer homes and stronger communities. Through proactive and preventative strategies, we tackle Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) head-on to protect and support our residents. We're looking for a dedicated Safe Neighbourhood Officer to join our Safe Neighbourhoods and Support Service on a full-time permanent basis. This field-based role covers the Yorkshire & Humber region, with a primary focus on Leeds, Harrogate, and occasional travel to other locations as needed. What You'll Be Doing As a Safe Neighbourhood Officer, you'll lead investigations into ASB cases in regional hotspots. You'll work closely with local police, councils, and partner agencies to deliver impactful prevention projects and build safer communities. You'll also collaborate with ASB and Legal Officers based in our Oldham office, attending regional court hearings and representing Guinness in lower-level legal proceedings such as injunctions, no-access cases, and straightforward possession claims. This role requires regular travel, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations into ASB incidents. Champion a victim-centred approach to community safety. Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns promptly. Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Guinness standards. Manage ASB cases in line with internal policies and procedures. Attend court hearings to support legal outcomes. Build strong partnerships with external agencies to maximise ASB interventions. Provide mediation services to resolve neighbour disputes. Contribute to continuous service improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver efficient, first-time-right solutions. What We're Looking For Proven experience in delivering targeted ASB prevention initiatives. Background in housing or property management. Solid understanding of social housing legislation and best practices. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with excellent planning and time management skills. Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Essential Qualifications Minimum Level 2 education (GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent). Please note: A DBS check will be required for this role, which Guinness will arrange during onboarding.
