This position is offering 26.5 hours per week £32,412 per annum (FTE £48,925) working 8am to 5pm ( Week 1 - Mon/Tues/Weds. Week 2 - Thurs/Fri/Sat) As a Nurse working as a Court Healthcare Professional, you will use your clinical expertise and skills to support the health, safety and welfare of custodies within the court setting. You will be responsible for diagnosis, identifying appropriate interventions, maintaining records and providing clinical advice and guidance in various court settings. Using a company vehicle you will be deployed to various court locations as required, following an initial telephone triage by one of our Clinical Advisors. Experience within a secure establishment would be an advantage. Duties Include: Adhere to local policies and procedures whilst working within the HCPC Code of Professional Conduct. Accurately document consultation notes in a timely fashion to allow for suitable clinical guidance and intervention. Recognise opportunities for providing health education during the consultation process. Refer to Clinical Service Delivery Manager, peers or colleagues as necessary for advice, whilst maintaining accountability and responsibility Demonstrate the ability to remain professionally focused on service delivery whilst dealing with an unpredictable, diverse and challenging workload. Qualifications: Current registration with NMC as a Nurse with no investigations/suspensions current or pending Able to demonstrate Continuous Professional Development Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 3 years post qualification as a Nurse Previous experience of clinical autonomy Evidence of consolidating post qualification practice Primary and acute secondary care experience Full driving licence Experience within a secure establishment would be an advantage. IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Teams Excellent communication skills Smart, professional appearance and conduct Skills and Abilities: Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision Ability to identify and correct signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient. Clear and concise communication skills, in particular when interacting with patients and third parties. Ability to influence a clinical situation. Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately. Ability to make appropriate and informed decisions quickly.
