Heavy Plant Engineer – Heavy Plant
Location: Northwest England
The Molson Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer with a strong background in heavy plant and construction equipment to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and support across a wide range of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and warranty work on plant and construction machinery.
* Perform damage repairs and site visits across various locations in the country.
* Accurately document all work completed and repairs required using the engineer iPad.
* Ensure 100% recovery of machinery under your care.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Maintain and care for company vehicle, reporting any defects promptly.
* Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
* Adhere to company health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in the plant industry.
* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
* CSCS card holder preferred.
* Proficient in diagnostic tools and computer-based engine diagnostics.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and conscientious approach to work.
* Dealer experience preferred, but not essential.
Education:
* Good general education including English, Maths, and IT.
