Are you passionate about education, technology, and inspiring the next generation? We are working in collaboration with a dynamic, nationally recognised charity at the forefront of computing education, as they recruit for an Education Programme Manager to lead and develop their impactful Learning Programme.
In this role, you will shape and deliver engaging educational experiences both in person and online, connecting learners of all ages with the past, present, and future of computing and digital innovation. You will oversee a team of freelance educators and volunteers, design resources aligned with the national curriculum and drive exciting outreach initiatives that make a real difference.
Your responsibilities as an Education Programme Manager will include:
* Leading the design and delivery of the organisation’s Learning Programme and supporting materials.
* Researching curriculum developments and integrating new technologies into learning.
* Developing workshops and outreach events for schools, families, home educators, and community groups.
* Delivering live online sessions and supporting virtual engagement.
* Coordinating a team of freelance educators and volunteers.
* Building partnerships to support and expand the reach of educational initiatives.
* Supporting wider team responsibilities, including opening and closing shared facilities.
What we are looking for:
* A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge/interest).
* Experience delivering educational content in schools or informal learning environments.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and how to design engaging, relevant content.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to lead and motivate others.
* Desirable: experience managing budgets, events, or small teams.
