Responsibilities
* Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to HGVs and other service vehicles
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and undertaking appropriate repairs
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
* Keeping accurate records of work carried out and parts used
* Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative workshop environment
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance/repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on HGVs and specialist vehicles
* A valid HGV driving licence (Category C or C+E)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience in multi-make commercial vehicle maintenance and diagnostics
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills using diagnostic equipment
Role Details
This is a temporary role for an initial period of 1 month, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You’ll be based on site in Llandudno Junction and paid an hourly rate of approximately £18.41 (£35,412 per annum), with weekly pay, holiday accrual, pension and other benefits.
