POSITION RESPONSBILITIES
• Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR-related matters.
• Provide clear, commercially sound advice on HR policies, procedures, and people matters, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation.
• Coach and support managers in handling payroll, time and attendance queries, investigations, including disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Support on all HR activity (Salary Reviews, Training, Recruitment, performance reviews etc. in conjunction with HRSS/L&D/Time Attendance.
• Ensure departmental training plans in place for functional and mandatory training in conjunction with Learning Advisor, HSE manager and operational lead
• Partner with the HRBP and support to manage complex employee relations cases.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee relations records and ER case tracker at all times.
• Review and draft HR policies to ensure compliance and alignment with employment law and business needs
• Working as part of a wider HR team looking to deliver People strategy and continuous improvement including flagging themes or trends to other HR colleagues and operational leaders.
• Reviewing and updating job descriptions with managers to ensure performance against the expectations in the role. Ensure changes are reflected in CC via HRSS.
• Support and expedite recruitment activity where required, including the conversion of temporary colleagues to permanent roles. Ensure roles are advertised in a timely manner.
• Providing advice, coaching and support on change processes
• Use HRIS to analyse people metrics and collaborate with managers on data to drive informed outcomes. Recommend enhancements to HRIS and Time & Attendance systems for improved data accuracy and decision-making.
• Identifying development needs and liaise with HRBP and L&D
• Assisting in organising colleague engagement activities
• Conduct regular check-ins with operational managers to review people matters, wellbeing, sickness cases, and payroll accuracy.
• Directing managers to right channels such HRSS for HRSS queries, Payroll for Pay queries etc
• Highlighting any concerns to relevant colleagues such as HRBP, HRSS Lead, Payroll.
• Supporting Regional and Global cyclical HR items as required, working collaboratively with all parts of the wider HR team on successful delivery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE
Demonstrated experience providing HR advice, coaching, and support within a commercial or operational environment.
Experience in commercial organisations of providing advice, coaching and support
Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification (desirable).
