Lead Engineer
Location: Basingstoke
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a maintenance team, overseeing on-site engineers and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient building services operations.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in an engineering maintenance environment
* Experience supervising and managing on-site engineers
* Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds LVL 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
* CSCS card (and ECS card if electrically qualified)
* Strong health & safety knowledge
* Ability to work independently and lead by example
Key Responsibilities
* Lead engineering maintenance and breakdown support
* Manage reactive & planned maintenance activities
* Control and report on repair & maintenance budgets
* Support health, safety, environmental, and energy initiatives xkybehq
* Liaise with senior management and regional engineering support
* Provide cover across local cluster sites when required (on-call)
