Contract Business Analyst – Legal / Law Firm Experience
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site)
Contract Type: 6-month initial contract, Outside IR35
Rate: Market-aligned, dependent on experience
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a highly reputable law firm on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting chance to work on multiple strategic internal initiatives within the Change team, helping deliver solutions that improve systems, processes and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* App Store: Provide BA support for the development and implementation of the concept of an internal app store, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process documentation.
* Internal App: Support requirements elicitation for a potential new module in one of the firms internal apps, capturing business needs, defining workflows and engaging with key stakeholders to clarify objectives.
* Redesigning the intranet: Assist with requirements gathering and process design to ensure the effective integration of these platforms, working with relevant stakeholders to align systems and user experience.
* Support workshops, document functional requirements, and liaise with technical teams to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, internal stakeholders, and the wider Change team to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Essential Experience
* Proven contract experience as a Business Analyst within one or more reputable law firms.
* Strong understanding of legal processes and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
* Experience supporting digital transformation or internal system projects within a legal environment.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver value in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Details
* Start Date: As early as 15th December or 5th January following a 4-week notice period.
* Duration: 6 months (initial)
* Location: London (2 days per week on-site, remainder remote)
* Outside IR35
