Job Title: Qualified social worker – Safeguarding Team

Rate: £29.36 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available for a qualified Social Worker. They are looking for a new member to join the Safeguarding Team in Hackney. The pay rate is £29.36 per hour.
What will your responsibilities be?
The social worker will participate in assessments, care planning, and safeguarding under the supervision of an experienced practitioner, following the Care Act’s wellbeing principles and a strengths-based approach. They will promote personalized support, enabling service user choice and control, manage a caseload, and conduct assessments with service users, carers, and multi-disciplinary partners. The social worker will identify outcomes, help people set asset-based goals, and create outcomes-focused support plans. They will provide high-quality social work services to adults, carers, and families, ensuring timely and statutory-compliant interventions to safeguard adults and promote positive outcomes. Guidance, support, and supervision will be provided based on the individual’s experience and capabilities.

Qualifications and Experiences:
4. Social Work England registration
5. Eligible to work in the UK
6. Hold a full UK licence
7. Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act, and The Mental Capacity Act /DOLS.
8. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
