About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join us at Hale Country Club & Spa. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in all areas of operation and carry out all duties to our world class standards. Responsibilities:
* Plan, supervise and control various operations, working closely and supporting the F&B manager
* Anticipate guests’ (members) needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests and resolve complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
* Constant effective communication with managers and supervisors regarding any guest or staff issues
* Encourage and motivate staff with a positive attitude
* Operate POS (point of sale) and maintain security of system
* Manage waiters, barmen and runners by ensuring the smooth running of the floor and that duties are carried out in a professional and timely manner
* Maintain excellent product knowledge
* Conduct service briefings
* Ensure all front of house staff adhere to the ‘company code of conduct’ and ‘standard operating procedures’
* Monitor staff service levels to establish any areas that require attention or further training and provide training where required
* Ensure the correct setup for functions and bookings for the day
* Ongoing menu and beverage training as well as developing regular tests
* Monitor staff breaks and general time keeping
Requirements:
* Leadership Experience at least 1 year or equivalent
* Previous and proven experience within Food and Beverage operations
* Luxury or high-level serving experience preferred
* Passionate about hospitality industry and wanting to deliver a great guest experience, always putting guest needs first
* Available to work different shift patterns including evenings and weekends if required
* Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of each seasonal menu, with the ability to describe, recommend, and answer any questions appropriately and train the team up to the required standards.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to think outside the box
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively Strong communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
* Confident in customer interactions and managing guest expectations
* Able to work under pressure
* Good communication and team-working skills
