£40, + Overtime & Commission
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive and promote the company vision, mission, and values
2. On site client service visits to carry out fault finding and troubleshooting of assets. Development of on-site solutions where possible including immediate and temporary remedies.
3. Work closely with the engineering design team when more robust solutions are required to remedy the problem
4. Lead on site commissioning activity, taking the role of company representative where appropriate, including the supervision of trade employees as required
5. Carry out day to day service engineer activities including strip, inspect, report and re-assembly of all mechanical apparatus including cylinders, valves, pumps, components, etc.
6. Basic repair utilising all relevant hand tools as well as basic machining and drilling
7. Effective set up for testing and carry out customer FAT
8. Completion of parts lists, material take offs and identifying appropriate equipment needed
9. Client liaison in terms of dispute clarification, invoice queries, etc.
10. Provide support to bids and proposal activity with technical input and service history where available. Occasional support for business development and client sales visits
11. utilise the company ERP system for all service activity recording and reporting
Candidate Profile:
12. In-depth mechanical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skills
13. Ideally already trained on crimping machines or someone with an FLT Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Plant Engineering background
14. Experience of hydraulics and electrical equipment an advantage, however factory training will be provided as required
15. Strong communication skills, written and verbal
16. A professional and confident personality with the ability to liaise with people from all walks of life
17. Able to plan and prioritise workload
18. A flexible and helpful attitude to work
19. A full driving licences
