The Role
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory
* Supporting and developing pupils’ musical skills and confidence
* Contributing to choirs, ensembles, concerts, and school productions
* Encouraging pupil participation in co-curricular music activities
* Working collaboratively within a well-established Music department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Music or a related discipline
* Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical aspects of Music
* The ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities
* A professional, organised, and collaborative approach
* Willingness to contribute to the wider musical life of the school
