We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented HR and Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic People team. If you have a passion for supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring accurate payroll processing, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Process monthly payroll using internal systems and collaborate with external providers.
* Ensure accurate calculations of pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).
* Manage payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with HMRC and GDPR requirements.
* Keep employee records up-to-date, including contracts, right-to-work documentation, and holiday records.
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including issuing contracts and scheduling inductions.
* Assist with absence management and employee data reporting.
* Coordinate HR documentation, letters, and communications.
* Help with weekly recruitment hires.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in HR and/or payroll administration, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practices.
* High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with HRIS and payroll software is a plus.
* Discreet and trustworthy, able to handle sensitive information with integrity.
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
