I'm currently working with a leading international maritime organisation to recruit a Senior Surveyor / Surveyor for a full-time, permanent role supporting high-level naval ship projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong naval experience looking to work on technically significant assets with an organisation that values safety, innovation, and excellence.
The Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for surveying and assessing engineering assets of naval ships across design, production, and in-service phases. The position may also involve leading projects and contributing to continuous improvement in safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess naval ship design, construction, and operation against technical standards.
* Deliver projects within scope, time, and quality targets.
* Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Lead or support client interactions, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
* Maintain compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, and ethical standards.
About You
* Degree in Engineering, Marine Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent marine/naval background.
* Member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., IEng or equivalent).
* An interest in becoming a ship surveyor.
* Eligible for UK security clearance.
