The role: The VP, Property Claims is a Technical Lead claims specialist role which has been newly created to assist with the continued growth of this extremely highly regarded team/company. the successful hire will be responsible for overseeing the analysis, and processing of their caseload, performing claims audits, providing analysis to underwriters and reserving actuaries, and lead collaborative projects in support of other areas of the company, including finance, actuarial, operations and technology.
This role will also lead with the preparation of management reporting on respective property claims activities. The VP, Property claims works with the Underwriters on any claims related interactions with cedents and brokers and will be a valued coach and mentor for more junior team members, someone who really enjoys sharing their extensive London Market property claims knowledge.
Requirements:
* At least 7 to 10 years prior relevant industry experience with at least 4 years in a senior position.
* Proactively shares relevant industry/business knowledge and information across the company.

* Has manged or mentored team members previously.
