Compliance Business Partner Gloucester/Flexible Fish Insurance Full time Permanent
A fantastic opportunity to work alongside the assigned business area with Schemes and Affinities to find solutions, resolve issues and deliver actions you would be a crucial part of the ongoing success of the company.
Ideally you will visit our busy and vibrant Gloucester office 3 times a week.
The role
•Support the business with delivery of operational priorities to reduce regulatory risk associated with our products and how we sell them.
•Support the business with the assessment of risk and application of proportionate controls
•Manage breaches & E&O’s through to completion
•Ensure the implementation of advice and guidance from 2LoD
•Ensure the business operates in line with Group policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
•Work with the business to drive delivery of activity that supports the business objectives, whilst ensuring adherence to group policies.
•Work with 2LoD to ensure advice and guidance is interpreted and implemented in line with group risk appetite
•Highlight the priority compliance actions for the business by collating and analysing conduct MI and undertaking trend and root cause analysis.
•Feed relevant information and recommendations into compliance committee on a monthly basis
•Timely escalation of issues to the Head of 1LoD.
•Ensure the business controls are effective and take action to improve/close gaps where necessary
•Sign off financial promotions within the remit of 1LoD
•Support the business with the creation of compliant customer documentation, undertake regular reviews of approved material and ensure regulator changes are implemented.
•Support and where appropriate own the management of breaches, E&O’s and complaints and resolution focussing on root cause and control effectiveness
•Support insurer audits in respect of logging, supplying information and closing actions
•Ensure regulatory reporting is completed, accurate and submitted in a timely manner
•Oversee escalated & FOS complaints
•Manage the 1LoD regulatory partner onboarding and regular oversight, escalating where appropriate.
