Job description (HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER WITH A MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE)
We are recruiting HGV class 1 drivers for our prestigious automotive client in Solihull, Castle Bromwich, Colesdhill & Wolverhampton
Trunking-based work (no handball) or collections and trailer swaps (curtain-side)
You may be required to work out of the following locations (optional):
1. Solihull (Damson Parkway) B92
2. Castle Bromwich B35
3. Wolverhampton WV9
4. Coleshill B46
2-3 days per week Mainly Thursday Friday, Monday shifts (WEEKENDS ALSO AVAILABLE).
Monday to Friday with optional weekends
HGV CLASS 1 Pay Rates:
Days ( £ per hour – guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime)
Nights ( £ per hour – guaranteed 9 hours per day (8 hrs basic + 1 hr overtime)
Overtime Nights (after 8 hrs) – £ per hour
Overtime Days (after 8 hrs) – £ per hour
Saturday Days – £ per hour
Saturday Night/Sunday – £ per hour
Bank Holiday – £ per hour
Paid breaks
9 hours guaranteed per day
33 paid days of holiday
Weekly pay
Pay increases after 1 years service
Requirements:
HGV Class 1 licence (UK issued)
Driver CPC (UK issued)
Digicard (UK issued)
MINIMUM 1 YEAR ON THE ROAD EXPERIENCE
HELD LGV LICENCE FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS
coupling/uncoupling of trailers.
Max 6 penalty points
No DR or DD convictions
