Class 1 Driver Trunking - Days
Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW
Shift times: Monday to Friday, start times from 6am
Pay Rate: £13.79
*As this is a specialised contracted ADR is preferred but not essential*
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding, to Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.
What you'll do on a typical day:
1. Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches.
2. Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
3. Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
4. Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
What you need to succeed with our client:
* HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential
* No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
* A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
* Multidrop delivery experience.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
* A can-do attitude.
