Project Manager - Waste Water Our Role As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the Non-Core Wastewater contract; delivering a wide range of Infrastructure Projects and Capital Works, across with North West, for our client United Utilities. You will support the client in delivering their key outcomes; delivery of key contract KPIs and full management of delivery and back office will be a key element of the role. You will oversee the design, delivery and commercial teams, to ensure our Non-Core programme of work is delivered safely, to the right quality, on programme and to the clients budget. Key Responsibilities We are looking for someone to: Ensure all work within the contracts under your control are carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations while working to maximise the profitability of each contract and ensuring satisfaction of contractual requirements Ensure cash forecasts, construction programmes and progress updates to the client are as accurate as possible and submitted on time Be responsible for ensuring the contracts Profit & Loss performance is in line with forecast each week Take an active part in leading on new tender opportunities released by the client Manage subcontractor relationships; agreeing T&Cs where required, both operationally and commercially Ensure compliance with the clients authorisation requirements and specifications, with the company standards of service and quality systems Control documentation from cradle to grave with an overall responsibility for the delivery and handover of schemes Ensure that the sub-contractors and direct labour are assessed in terms of their health and safety competence prior to commencing work for on and behalf of the company Assess the risk associated with our operations and ensuring that suitable and sufficient site-specific method statements and risk assessments are compiled with in advance of works Help to build a new delivery team and support the development of the people in your team Ensure the safety, consistency of approach and quality of delivery are always to a high standard Be an integral part of our business development approach, through client interface and company governance Network Plus at A Glance Network Plus is an award-winning business delivering essential utility and infrastructure services for the UKs major providers of gas, power, telecoms, transport, water, and wastewater We value the variety of experience, perspective, and other points of difference our workforce, clients, and supply chain offer We are actively working with colleagues across the Network Plus Group to develop an inclusive environment we want all our employees to feel valued and included to enable everyone to thrive at work and understand the value of their contribution matters no matter their background, identity, or circumstances Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.
