Were delighted to be supporting a young and growing day nursery that cares for children aged 6 months to 8 years. The nursery is now looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team and work alongside experienced assistants and room leaders in both the baby and pre-school rooms.
The nursery began as a childminding service in 2014 and has since flourished into a vibrant, fully-fledged setting with over 15 staff. Their ethos is simple: children come first. Staff are empowered to focus on what really mattersplay, care, laughter, and learning.
This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate, self-motivated, and eager to bring energy and creativity to every day.
? What Youll Be Doing
* Creating fun, age-appropriate play and learning activities
* Supporting childrens social, emotional, and physical development
* Observing and documenting childrens progress in line with the EYFS
* Working closely with colleagues to plan engaging activities tailored to each child
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
* Communicating effectively with parents and staff to share updates and insights
* Safeguarding children and ensuring their wellbeing at all times
* Bringing joy to daily routineswhether through stories, crafts, songs, or a spontaneous dance party!
?? About You
Were looking for someone who is:
* Qualified with Early Years NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
* Experienced in working with children (experience with babies is a bonus)
* Fun, caring, and creative with a hands-on approach
* A strong communicator who works well in a team
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to lead activities with confidence
