School Administrator – Primary School (Watford)
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and friendly School Administrator to join a welcoming primary school team in Watford. This is a vital role at the heart of the school, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and providing excellent support to staff, pupils, and parents.
Role Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
* Manage attendance records, admissions, and pupil data systems (e.g. SIMS or Arbor)
* Handle tele and email enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
* Support the headteacher and senior leadership team with administrative tasks
* Prepare letters, reports, and school communications
* Assist with safeguarding procedures and maintain accurate records
* Support general office duties including filing, scanning, and scheduling
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an administrative role (school experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy environment
* A professional, approachable, and discreet manner
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
