Claims Executive Job Description
This role is ideal for a claims professional with a strong track record of managing international Property & Casualty (re)insurance claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims within service level agreements and working closely with clients, brokers, underwriters, and other insurance experts.
The Claims Executive will be expected to monitor the Consilium & Consilium Re claims inboxes, set up new claims, and manage them through to file closure. They will also use London Market claims systems, process settlements, and manage a daily diary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a portfolio of international Property & Casualty (re)insurance claims
* Monitor the Consilium & Consilium Re claims inboxes and set up new claims
* Use London Market claims systems and process settlements
* Manage a daily diary and produce and analyse MI
* Peer review, undertake and provide knowledge-based training as required
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of handling UK & international Property & Casualty claims, cradle to grave. Lloyd's & London Market claims broking experience is strongly preferred, with excellent working knowledge of ECF.
The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities, and work well under pressure. They will also have at least 5 GCSE Grade A-Cs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
