Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Location: Remotely covering North England

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Dependent On Experience + Car Allowance + OTE Bonus

Contract Type: Permanent


Picture a busy construction site. Now multiply that across hundreds of projects, customers and fabricators. At AluK, our aluminium systems are used every day in windows, doors, façades, balustrades and large-scale developments across the UK. Behind every one of those projects is a relationship — and that’s where you come in.


As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships within your territory, ensuring our customers have the right solutions, support and commercial focus to succeed. You’ll work closely with fabricators, installers and internal teams to understand project requirements, identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.

Our manufacturing and logistics teams produce and dispatch tonnes of aluminium systems every day, ensuring customers get what they need, when they need it. Your role is to make sure customers have confidence in AluK — through strong communication, technical understanding and a proactive, partnership-led approach.


You’ll be supported with training on our products, systems and sales processes, giving you the tools to manage your area effectively. What we’re looking for is someone who is commercially minded, customer-focused and motivated to build long-term relationships, while working collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Technical and Operations.

A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager will involve:


* Managing and developing a portfolio of customers, ensuring strong relationships and consistent commercial performance across your area.
* Identifying new business opportunities, tracking projects and supporting customers with the right aluminium systems and solutions.
* Working closely with internal teams including Technical, Customer Service and Operations to ensure customers receive the support they need, when they need it.
* Keeping customer and project information up to date on our CRM and sales systems, ensuring visibility and accurate forecasting.
* Attending customer meetings, site visits and project discussions to support specifications, resolve issues and drive long-term growth.
* Operating in line with Company policies, working safely and professionally at all times.


To be a successful Area Sales Manager, you’ll need:


* Proven experience in field-based sales or account management, ideally within construction, aluminium or building products.
* Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and add value at all levels.
* Good organisation and time management skills to manage your territory effectively.
* Confidence using CRM systems and sales tools, with full product and systems training provided.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and a collaborative team mindset.
