Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Regional Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing performance and quality, ensuring process efficiency, and delivering a preventative maintenance scheme for fixed plant. You will manage a team of mechanical fitters and electrical engineers, ensuring health and safety compliance across all activities.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and maximizing productivity, optimizing resource use, and improving processes and quality.
* Communicating performance targets and KPIs to the team through meetings and site objectives.
* Managing plant maintenance checks, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks.
* Reporting defects, conducting root cause analysis, and managing maintenance inspections.
* Reporting on site performance, addressing deficiencies, and assisting in developing a 5-year CAPEX plan.
* Controlling costs related to production, including labor and overtime.
* Implementing and managing maintenance systems and ensuring safety regulations are followed.
The Ideal Candidate
The candidate should have experience as an Engineering Manager or Maintenance Supervisor in heavy manufacturing, managing regional teams, with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Skills in team management, continuous improvement techniques, and IT proficiency are essential. A recognized apprenticeship, engineering degree, or equivalent experience is required.
