A leading UK food manufacturer with strong retail partnerships and a commitment to excellence is seeking a QA Manager for their Milton Keynes facility. This is a key role at a large site within a growing operation, where quality and food safety are top priorities. The Role: As QA Manager, you’ll lead the site’s quality and compliance activities, ensuring that products consistently meet customer and regulatory standards. You’ll manage the QA team, oversee systems and audits, and collaborate closely with production, technical, and supply chain colleagues. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and develop the site QA team (supervisors, technicians, auditors) in a shift pattern * Maintain and improve site quality systems, HACCP, and GMP compliance * Ensure BRC, customer, and internal audit readiness * Investigate non-conformances and drive root cause analysis * Support NPD from a technical compliance perspective * Liaise with customers and external bodies where required About You: * Proven experience in a QA or Technical leadership role within food manufacturing (chilled, high-care or protein experience preferred) * Led a team over 24 hour shifts. * Strong understanding of BRCGS, HACCP, and retailer standards * Excellent communication and people management skills * Hands-on, pragmatic approach in a fast-paced environment * Passion for quality and continuous improvement What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary * Opportunity to lead QA for a high-volume, high-standard site * Career progression within a major food manufacturing group * Collaborative, supportive culture with a focus on innovation and improvement If you’re ready to lead a QA team in a dynamic, growing operation, we want to hear from you
