Working with one of our housing clients who are currently looking for a Senior BI Developer to help with a critical reporting project as we migrate to the Civica CX system.
The successful candidate will be working closely with their permanent data analyst, so mentoring and knowledge transfer are a key part of this role.
The core objective is twofold:
 * Deliver all critical statutory and operational reports against firm deadlines.
 * Establish a robust, scalable reporting framework (using SQL Views and Power BI templates) that our internal team can maintain long-term.
The ideal candidate must have:
 * Expert-level SQL skills: The entire project hinges on building a library of performance-optimised SQL reports and views.
 * Advanced Power BI skills: The role involves not just building reports, but also creating a master Power BI template (.pbit file) to ensure branding and standardisation.
 * Mentoring & Collaboration: A proven ability to mentor a colleague, using methods like paired working sessions to ensure a successful handover.
 * Stakeholder Management: The ability to work quickly, clarify requirements, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) under pressure.
Significant advantages would be:
 * Direct, hands-on experience with the Civica CX database schema (e.g., data structures for tenancies, repairs, or rents), as this will be essential for meeting our project timelines.
 * Experience with GitHub for version control of SQL scripts and Power BI files.
