POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for dailyoperations of Patient Financial Counseling Outreach Department.Supervises the daily activities of Certified Application Counselorsand support staff engaged in assisting patients with applying andenrolling in medical and dental insurance.
Engage in training support functionsassociated with Patient Financial Counseling. Assures staffcompliance with Certified Application Counselor Organizationregulatory requirements. Prepares a variety of reports andrecommendations to monitor and improve staff performance anddepartment operations. Works cooperatively with Patient AccessFinancial Services and other department employees and managers forthe purpose of achieving the departmental goals providing excellentcustomer service and maximizing revenue opportunities for theHospital.
