Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with vulnerable or disengaged students across Newark, Nottinghamshire. These sessions are designed to help young people build confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress in education or employment.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity that could become long-term and full-time for the right candidate.
* Deliver 1:1 or small group Functional Skills sessions in English and Maths
* Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learner needs (Entry Level - Level 2)
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to support learning and development
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and focused learning environment
* Competitive hourly pay: £25-£30 per hour

* Experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths (Entry Level to L2)
* Teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, QTLS, or relevant FE/Adult Learning certs)

* A passion for supporting learners who may face barriers to mainstream education
