Responsibilities:
1. Install and modify electrical components and systems, including 1st fix containment, 2nd fix installations, power & lighting, and commissioning.
2. Keep administration teams updated on any change of order when collecting materials from wholesalers.
3. Perform all testing and inspections to enable completion of certification.
4. Assist the Project Manager/Supervisor with information required for estimates and quotations.
5. Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
6. Install trays, ladders, conduits, etc.
7. Demonstrate proven experience in project installation work post-apprenticeship.
8. Possess at least two years of experience as an Electrician after completing training.
9. Have practical, productive, and electrical engineering skills with supervisory knowledge to work independently and efficiently.
10. Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, and requisition materials.
11. Accept responsibility for completing jobs properly and supervise other operatives if required.
12. Hold qualifications such as City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ, C&G 2382-10 18th Edition, and C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing.
13. Experience in commercial electrical installations and LV distribution systems.
14. Experience with DC/UPS systems is advantageous but not essential.
15. Understand safe working practices and permit to work systems.
16. Communicate effectively and adapt to flexible work patterns.
17. First Aid, IPAF, and PASMA certifications are advantageous; training can be provided.
18. UK travel may be required.
19. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
20. Work safely at heights and in accordance with CDM regulations.
