Role: Project Engineer / Planner (Rotary Aircraft)

Job Description:
This position is for a Project Engineer reporting to the Project Engineering Manager. The role involves supporting the Vertical Lift (VL) programme objectives, coordinating activities, and reporting. The primary location is Bristol, with Yeovil as a secondary site. Occasional travel and hybrid working options are available.
Key Tasks include:
* Coordinating engineering teams across multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and customers.
* Developing and maintaining Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
* Promoting systems engineering best practices in managing the programme requirements hierarchy, ensuring quality, traceability, and compliance verification.
* Collaborating with programme leadership to obtain necessary approvals for business continuity.
* Coordinating project proposal activities and informing the engineering leadership of milestones and objectives.
* Identifying metrics and reporting on functional performance to programme leadership.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* A Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, with experience in requirements management.
* Experience in Project Planning and Management, with strong Systems Engineering knowledge, good IT skills, and excellent customer-facing skills.
* Knowledge of Chinook and/or Apache rotorcraft platforms is preferred.
* Registration with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (IEng or CEng), or the ability to work towards these titles.
* Knowledge of Military Airworthiness Authority (MAA) Regulatory Articles.
