Contracts Manager
Location: Newton Abbot
Salary: £43,500 + Company Car + Benefits Package
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (45 hours per week, 07:00–17:00)
Thanks to continued growth and business development, our client — a highly regarded and expanding company within the highways and infrastructure sector — is seeking a talented Contracts Manager to join their team at their Newton Abbot headquarters.

The Role
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from start to finish, coordinating teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding quality and safety standards throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading project setup in collaboration with the estimating team.
Managing client communication and delivering outstanding customer service throughout each project.
Preparing and issuing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
Creating clear work instructions for site teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Processing completed work sheets and reviewing documentation submitted by crews.
Overseeing time sheet reviews and resource allocation for assigned teams.
Supervising the Contracts Supervisor, providing leadership and support.
Working with colleagues to resolve issues and optimise workflow efficiency.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and confident in both client-facing and team leadership settings. Experience in the highways sector or a related field is desirable, but candidates with strong project management skills from other industries will also be considered.
