We are recruiting for a Apprentice Administration Assistant for a Business Administration Apprenticeship available at our Vans site in Stockton.
As the Apprentice Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing effective administrative assistance to the Finance and Accounts departments by supporting the team with the day-to-day requirements of the business. Full training will be provided in all areas.
As the Apprentice Administration Assistant, you will learn how to:
* Inputting purchase ledger invoices, credit notes, debit notes etc onto the computer system
* Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
* Approving for payment authorised invoices etc
* Reconciling suppliers’ balances with suppliers’ statements
* Weekly payment runs including individual payments
* Ensuring that the supplier queries are progressed
* All aspects of supplier liaison
* Setting up new accounts
* General administration duties to include filing and sending emails
* Providing general support and assistance to the Finance and Accounts departments
* Any other duties as required by the Accounts Assistant or management team
