As a Housing Enforcement Officer at Hyde, you will be responsible for managing and investigating anti-social behaviour cases, ensuring proportionate and effective interventions are taken to protect our residents and communities. You’ll play a key role in providing excellent customer service, utilising legal and non-legal tools, and working with internal and external partners to resolve complex cases.
Key Duties
* Risk-assess victims of ASB and implement appropriate case management plans, making referrals where necessary.
* Make effective use of specialist equipment to assist with investigations and gather evidence.
* Work proactively to keep customers and stakeholders informed about the progress of cases, providing timely and accurate responses.
* Take proportionate and necessary action when justified, using both legal and non-legal remedies while considering the vulnerability and support needs of all parties.
* Prepare cases for court action and represent Hyde in court and eviction hearings, liaising with Legal Services and solicitors as appropriate.

As a Housing Enforcement Officer we’re seeking someone who can bring:
* Up-to-date working knowledge of ASB case investigations and housing legislation.
* Proven experience of tenancy management with a strong understanding of tenancy related housing legislation (essential).
* The ability to work independently and carry out home/site visits, often lone working in varied environments including high-rise blocks and large estates.
* Previous ASB experience or housing officer experience with exposure to ASB cases.
* Knowledge and experience of multi-agency working.
* Strong problem-solving skills, using defined processes to resolve day-to-day issues.
