About The Role
Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, impacting millions of lives in the UK.
You will work independently to assess cases for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA), involving consultations and report writing.
You will only assess for PIP or WCA, not both. We will guide you on your service choice and training during the application process.
No prior experience as a Functional Assessor is required; our accredited training and support will assist your career transition.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct consultations via phone, video, or in person for PIP or WCA applicants
* Assess complex conditions and impairments
* Write high-quality, fair, and accurate reports using our IT system
* Collaborate with your line manager to develop professionally
Essential Experience And Qualifications
* At least 12 months post-registration experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, or Occupational Therapist
* Full registration with one of the following:
o Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
o Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
o General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
