The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by problematic drugs and alcohol use for over 40 years. Aspire is a partnership between ADS and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), combining the strengths of both NHS provision and the voluntary sector.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for rough sleepers and hard‑to‑reach community members.
* Engage and support clients to enter the treatment system.
* Referrals and advocacy with local housing, social services, benefits and healthcare services.
* Deliver harm reduction advice and interventions on overdose prevention and blood‑borne viruses.
* Undertake assessments of need and devise holistic care packages to achieve sustainable recovery outcomes.
* Work flexibly to meet the needs of this group.
Qualifications
* Non‑judgemental attitude, resilience and patience.
* Relevant degree (psychology, sociology, social work) or a Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and L3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent.
* Right to work in the UK by commencement of employment.

* Salary £26,682 – £32,559, depending on experience.
