You will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork in accordance with manufacturer repair methods, company quality standards and production targets. All tasks must be completed safely, using approved techniques, with accurate documentation of work carried out. Duties Carry out all tasks in line with company Health & Safety policies, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment at all times. Review electronic job information via the technician tablet, assess repair requirements and plan work activities accordingly. Verify that all parts received are correct for the vehicle and repair, and remove damaged components in line with manufacturer guidelines. Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs, including panel beating, metal finishing and restoring panels to required tolerances. Undertake welding, bonding, riveting and panel replacement using approved repair methods and equipment. Prepare repaired areas for refinishing by applying fillers and completing surface preparation to required quality standards. Remove and refit trims, associated components and complete basic mechanical tasks related to the repair process where trained. Maintain accurate time recording and photographic documentation via the technician tablet, support colleagues when required and undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
