Transport & Logistics Manager – Hull – Permanent – To £60,000
An exceptional Transport and Logistics Manager opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing business, who have recently become PE backed and expected to double in size in the next 3-5 yrs. We are seeking a strong minded and experienced Transport and Logistics Manager with excellent people and management skills, confident, the ability to make a change and strong compliance knowledge.
As the Transport & Logistics Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of a fleet of 12 trucks, warehouse, and property across 3 UK sites ensuring adherence to regulations such as ADR, COSHH, and DGSA, as well as HACCP and ISO standards. Additionally, you will act as the Company Health and Safety Officer.

Transport and Logistics Manager responsibilities:
* Ensuring Fleet and Warehouse compliance, accurate records and documentation for licences
* Conduct regular audits and inspections ensuring VOSA and ISO standards
* Maintaining fleet and property by reviewing composition, implementing maintenance schedules, monitoring PPM, negotiating of fuel deals
* Overseeing warehouse operations and overseeing procedures
* Managing stock levels and minimise discrepancies
* Develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
* Manage team of drivers ensuring driving hours compliance, allocation and planning of schedules, and training
* Act as the site Health and Safety Officer, conducting regular risk assessments, implement safety measures and ensure adherence to regulations
* Reporting updates and KPI’s to CEO and Executive teams, manage budget for logistics department, utilise systems to optimise operations, implementation of KPI’s and compliance
Required Skills & Experience:
* Valid Transport Manager CPC
* O License holder experience
* Experience in logistics and transport management
* Strong knowledge of UK and EU regulations related to transport, warehousing and property management
