Are you an experienced mediation and training professional with strong project management skills and a passion for peacebuilding and reconciliation? Do you have the leadership ability to coordinate teams, deliver impactful training programmes, and drive successful project outcomes? If so, this could be the ideal role for you. The Project: We are recruiting a Training & Mediation Delivery Manager for the NextGen4Peace project, a major PEACEPLUS-funded initiative delivered in partnership by Mediation Northern Ireland, The Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation, and a range of community and educational associate partners. The project aims to build and sustain a regional network of diverse grassroots peacebuilders by delivering conflict resolution, mediation, restorative practice and dialogue training to marginalised communities across Northern Ireland and the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland. Key activities include tailored skills programmes, the development of regional anchor sites for training and mediation services, the piloting of a community-based mediation model, professional development of mediators and dialogue facilitators, and initiatives to support positive community relations within school communities. Your Duties: Manage and oversee all training and mediation delivery activities to ensure programme targets and timelines are achieved. Lead, schedule and support a panel of trainers and mediators, providing supervision, guidance and performance management. Deliver advanced certified mediation training and facilitate complex mediations as required. Ensure timely reporting of Partner Reports and Partner Finance Reports to the NextGen4Peace Project Manager. Manage relationships with project partners and internal teams to ensure effective planning and delivery. Monitor programme performance through robust monitoring and evaluation processes and ensure accurate data reporting. Oversee the practice and training delivery budget, ensuring financial resources are used appropriately and in accordance with the Letter of Offer and SEUPB eligibility rules. Identify project risks and challenges, implementing solutions and contributing to risk management planning. Manage the Project Assistant and support capacity building across the wider practitioner team. Oversee course accreditation processes with Open College Network and support the development of tailored training curriculum. Contribute to high-quality project reporting, dissemination activity and lessons learned outputs. Ensure all communication is carried out in accordance with SEUPB requirements. Your Profile: A recognised qualification in mediation (e.g. Mediation Theory & Practice OCN or equivalent) is essential. Advanced mediation training is desirable. A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Peace Education, Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies, Social Studies or Community Development is desirable. A qualification in project or programme management and/or adult training is desirable. At least two years experience in programme or project management. Demonstrable experience delivering mediation and training in community settings. Experience of peacebuilding, community development or post-conflict initiatives is desirable. Experience with managing Monitoring and Evaluation processes in compliance with SEUPB requirements is desirable. Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder relationships. Commitment to promoting peace, social cohesion, cultural sensitivity and high ethical standards. Other: Eligible to work in Northern Ireland is essential. Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport is required. Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland counties, border counties in the Republic of Ireland, and occasionally to Glencree head office in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. Your Benefits: £38,220 per annum. Pension contribution. 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays. Travel reimbursement in line with HMRC approved mileage rates. Additional Information: Full time (37.5 hours per week), Four year fixed term contract. Primarily office-based in Belfast City Centre, with regional travel across Ireland as required.
