I'm currently partnered with a market leading manufacturer in Blackburn who are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves working on a double days shift pattern and is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
* Conduct reactive maintenance to address and resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
* Collaborate with the production team to minimise disruptions and enhance productivity.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND).
