Job Purpose
The Business Change Project Manager will be responsible for leading strategic and operational change projects within a legal environment, focusing on improvements to processes, policy implementation, and organisational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in supporting legal teams through business transformation and ensuring successful change adoption across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver non-IT business change projects within a legal services context.
Collaborate with senior legal stakeholders (e.g., General Counsel, Partners, Legal Ops) to identify change needs and define project outcomes.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business cases, timelines, risk registers, and status reports.
Conduct change impact assessments across legal functions and design tailored change interventions.
Develop and execute communication and engagement strategies suitable for legal audiences.
Ensure effective integration of new processes, policies, and working practices within legal teams.
Monitor and track progress against project milestones and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
Facilitate training, workshops, and feedback sessions to support change adoption.
Track benefits realisation and handover to operational leads for ongoing sustainability.
