About the School

The SEN team is passionate about supporting every students journey, creating tailored learning strategies and encouraging holistic development both in and out of the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to a variety of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
* Create structured and engaging learning experiences that promote academic, emotional, and social development.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches as needed.
* Foster a classroom culture of respect, safety, and inclusivity.
* Encourage independence and confidence in every pupil through a supportive teaching approach.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in SEN or a specialist setting.
* A nurturing and adaptable teaching style that promotes inclusivity.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
* A proactive attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness ).
* Two relevant references confirming experience and suitability for the role.
