Role Overview
As an Assignment Manager, you will oversee the coordination and management of assignments, timelines, and related activities, ensuring efficiency through dedicated administrative support. This role offers the chance to participate in the development of the future of the business and to make a real contribution to its growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assignment Management
* Ensure smooth running of assignment activity in a fast-paced environment
* Take a proactive approach to managing the assignments and work as part of a collaborative team to ensure competing deadlines are met
* Maintain communication and develop long-term relationships with clients and candidates before, during and after the assignments have been completed
* Comprehensive preparation of documentation for meetings, reviews and interviews throughout multiple stages of the process
* Thorough proofing and formatting of reports
* Arranging and confirming candidate interviews with the Partner and client
* Utilise technology and ensure the database is always kept up to date with candidate and client information
* Establish appropriate client relationships e.g. peer equivalents
Partner/Executive Assistant Support
* Extensive and complex diary management for the Partner and wider team
* Work closely with the Partner to discuss live projects and agree ongoing support requirements
* Arrange travel and accommodation when required
* Process the Partner’s expenses via a web-based expenses system
Business Development (BD)
* Adopt a proactive approach in assisting the Partner with their BD strategy and take appropriate actions
* Build rapport with potential and existing clients
* Diarise virtual and/or face to face meetings and prepare relevant documentation such as pitch presentations and tenders
* Keep up to date with news announcements/press releases for target clients and candidates
Team contribution
* Undertake and support ad hoc projects
* Be mindful of the workload distribution and support and provide cover for colleagues where possible
* Communicate and collaborate during meetings
Experience and skills required to excel in the role
* Held previous roles which have included assignment/project management responsibility
* PA/EA to a senior manager with experience of extensive pro-active diary management
* Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office suite of packages, to include Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and comfortable using the internet as a research tool
* Evidence of multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
* Client interface, liaising with senior level individuals via telephone and email
* Team player who is also comfortable working autonomously
* Excellent attention to detail, including thorough proof-reading skills
* Strong organisational skills

* Ideally, experience of working in a recruitment firm and/or an understanding of recruitment activities
